FULL RIDE made its European debut on October 1, 2002 on British
Sky Broadcasting (BSkyB). The UK's most popular premium cable and
satellite service broadcast the Oberon Entertainment film just
about every other day at various times for the next several
months.
BSkyB is the world's most successful satellite/cable
pay-television operator with 6.37 million subscribers and annual
revenues of 1,270 million pounds. The British multi-media publisher
COBRA described BskyB, "A fundamental belief in programming
excellence and choice has enabled BSkyB to drive the business
forward and in the process, create one of the great British brands:
Sky Television. BSkyB has led a revolution in entertainment,
innovation and choice. In less than a decade it has established a
leading position in sports and movie programming and has been
responsible for a dramatic increase in the number of channels
available.
Additional sales of FULL RIDE have been made to over 20 foreign
markets including most of Europe, Russia, China, Brazil and
Australia. In fact, FULL RIDE is now playing on every continent
except Antarctica and now that FULL RIDE is available on home video
maybe even there. FULL RIDE is represented worldwide in television
markets by PorchLight Entertainment. After a several month blackout
during the early months of FULL RIDE's home video release, look for
FULL RIDE to begin showing up on major cable stations. PorchLight
expresses confidence that this is the beginning of sales in
numerous media and markets. "A network television debut is a great
launching platform," says Andy Anderson, Oberon Co-President,
"Millions of folks saw FULL RIDE or its promotions on the WB and
millions more will see it worldwide. That creates a demand for
future sales to cable and home video."
